Chanel's Spring summer 2013 show not so sure that I get it
Chanel hosted its spring summer ready to wear show now some of the pieces I loved others not so much. Although looking at the catwalk images its dawned on me that perhaps i'm not fashionable enough to understand this.
Such as this one it's got more of the classic vintage Chanel with a morden twist ((the shortness and the awesome shoes the hair ect)) feel to it with its structure and the old school tweed and pearls twisted which are large to make sure the outfit dosent feel dated. However....
I love the shoes but thats about it when it comes this outfit seriously reminds me of dungarees. Personally I wouldn't look at this and think high end unless that was the point?.
Another bit of confusion I had was the hula hoop bag? A new weight loss Technique? Or maybe a by product of the Adele incident hmm?

Mike Allred
I love mike Allreds art as I love the contrast between the bright colours and the white backgrounds he uses and the very simple way he presents things is clean and precise. Plus his picture of batman's fairly cool...
Frank Miller sin city

Frank Millers art work in sin city has become a iconic example of art in graphic novelsthe use of only black and white gives the work a harsh quality to it and almost enhances the narrative taking place in the book personally I find the black and white a little to harsh...for my taste but I can see the quality behind it.
